Where's My Life?
Is a photo series and documentary film about my mum Natalie who died suddenly from a hernia strangluation in 2023. The film explores issues with women who have complications after c-sections at childbirth and interviews top hernia surgeons in London about the issues surrounding care and hernia operations in the UK compared to other countries. The film explores several aspects of my mum's life and follows hernia patients in similar cicumstances to my mum, to get an insight into the difficulties faced while living with disabling severe hernia's. It also raises questions about end-of-life care for patients like my mum who were left with no further options for treatment. Stay tuned for full updates...
